Kirstine Nyboe is a pseudonym, which I have stolen from my family, my beloved grandmother. For more than 30 years ago, I sat in her flat and used her old typewriter (with blue font colour). I wasn´t even in my teens at the time, but I had a wish to express myself. Everybody experiences different situations/problems, children as well as adults, and I wrote about life as a child. When my grandmother read my story, she asked me, if I had made the story up myself, and yes the story was all mine. She encouraged me to become a writer. And the dream started. Sadly she died, before I could finish the story, and it was forgotten.

When I was 17 years old, I started to write again, and this time I used a typewriter too. Unfortunately illness came in the way, and the papers from the story vanished, but it was not forgotten. And in the future it will be written.

During my illness, a horoscope was made for me, and will you believe, it said that I ought to seek a career as a writer, journalist or historian. It is funny, because I thought of all three occupations as a future at the time.

Why didn´t I start to write again at the time?

Well, due to different circumstances, I got a very different education.

A couple of years ago, something happened in my private life which enabled me to pursue the dream as a writer, and here I am. I have developed many ideas throughout the years, 35 years. Just wait and see.

At the moment I am working on my first novel, time will tell if will be published as a ”paper book” or as a e book. But I promise, more will come.
